  4. You know what you want, but not how to make it come to life. It is easy to look on Pinterest or Instagram at inspiration photos but, what is being put out there can also be costly. When entering the premilinary stages of planning it is important to decide on a realistic budget. Once this has been decided, a wedding planner can help you create the look and feel that you are finding in your inspiration photos/reels while remaining inside your budget.

  5. Avoiding too many cooks in the kitchen. As soon as you get engaged, everyone wants to know when you are getting married, where it will be, and so on. Sometimes this comes with people offering unsolicited advice or design ideas. It is important to have one head chef that advocates for the couple getting married. A wedding planner will discuss with the couple what they want and will follow their wishes. This allows for the couple to say “We are working with our wedding planner to create our design and perfect day! I appreciate your ideas and can’t wait for you to join us.”

  6. Enjoying the day! This may be the most important part. A wedding planner or day-of coordinator is there to make sure your day goes off without a hitch. As the couple getting married, your focus should be on celebrating your marriage and love for one another.
